    Remove the Cover

    Remove the existing shower drain cover or other insert only if it is designed to be removable.

  2. STEP 02

    Check the Opening

    Confirm a stable support ledge, a clear passage for the insert body, enough usable depth and no fixed obstructions.

  3. STEP 03

    Insert MagClean

    First complete a clean, dry placement check without force. If it fits and sits securely, run one small water test to confirm free drainage. If it does not fit, sits insecurely or restricts flow, remove it and stop using it. This safety check does not limit our 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee.

  4. STEP 04

    Lift Out to Clean

    When hair collects, lift out the centre piece, release the hair, rinse the collector and place it back.

Remove only parts designed to be removable. Do not force MagClean into an obstructed or incompatible drain.

Will MagClean Fit?

Remove the drain cover or insert, then check these four points. Drain type alone does not determine fit.

  1. A Removable Cover or Insert

    The existing drain cover or service insert can be removed safely without disturbing fixed plumbing parts.

  2. A Stable Support Surface

    The approx. 78 mm silicone disc needs continuous support around the opening. This can be a flat ledge or a continuous sloped shoulder that supports the disc securely so it cannot drop through.

  3. At Least 50 mm of Clear Depth

    Allow at least 50 mm of unobstructed space below the support surface so the bottom flap has room to move freely.

  4. At Least 32 mm of Clear Passage

    The passage below the support surface must be at least 32 mm wide so the approx. 31.5 mm insert body can pass through freely without force.

What is MagClean?

MagClean is a removable insert for compatible walk-in shower floor drains. It is not a complete drain replacement or a bathtub stopper.

Does it fit every shower drain?

No. Fit depends on the opening, clear depth, support ledge and internal obstructions. Complete the Fit Check before ordering.

Does the magnet attract hair?

No. The magnet holds the removable collection module together. Hair is gathered by the drain insert's physical structure and water flow.

Does it replace my plumbing trap?

No. The flexible upper ring and bottom valve help limit odour pathways between showers, but MagClean does not replace a correctly installed P-trap or other required plumbing.

Do I have to touch the collected hair?

The magnetic collector opens so you can use its other half to slide caught hair away without touching the wet strands with your fingers.

How often should I clean it?

Inspect it regularly and clean it whenever hair buildup becomes visible. Frequency varies with shower use and hair load.

Is shipping free, and how long does delivery take?

For Australian orders, we offer free standard shipping to eligible addresses. Orders are normally processed within 1–2 business days. Estimated transit time to Australia is 7–12 business days after dispatch. Processing time is separate from transit time. These are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates. Can I return it if it is not right for me?

You may return MagClean for any reason by contacting us within 30 days of delivery; you do not need to provide a return reason. We may ask for your order number and contact details only to verify the purchase and arrange safe handling. Opening the package, completing a clean, dry placement check, or trying MagClean under normal household use does not disqualify the return. We cover standard return shipping, charge no restocking fee and do not require original packaging.

Do not mail a product that has contacted wastewater or is materially contaminated unless we instruct you to do so; we may arrange another safe return or disposal method.

A 1 Pack return covers the complete 1 Pack. For a Buy 2, Get 1 Free (3 Pack), an any-reason return must include all three inserts and their supplied product parts. Original packaging is not required. After the authorised complete return is received and checked—or after we confirm in writing that no physical return is required and our handling instructions are completed—we refund the actual product price paid for the returned pack, after any discounts, in the original transaction currency to the original payment method. Partial one- or two-insert any-reason returns are not offered. Individual defective, damaged, incomplete or incorrect inserts are handled separately under the Return & Refund Policy and do not require returning a complete 3 Pack.
